Palm Beach Shakespeare by the Sea Returns to Jupiter — The Palm Beaches’ Most Beloved Summer Tradition One of Palm Beach County’s longest-running and most beloved cultural traditions is back. The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival presents its annual Shakespeare by the Sea production through July 19th at the Seabreeze Amphitheater in Jupiter — an outdoor, under-the-stars theatre experience that has been a signature of the county’s summer calendar for decades. Whether you are a Shakespeare devotee or someone who simply appreciates an elegant evening outside with the Florida sky as your backdrop, this is the kind of event that reminds you why this part of the world attracts the people it does. Bring a blanket, a bottle of wine, and someone you enjoy sitting next to. It is a wonderful way to spend a summer evening just up the coast. Broward 12 Years in the Making: Pompano Beach Finally Gets Its Skate Park — And the Grand Opening Is Going to Be Epic The first public skate park in Pompano Beach history is opening its gates on Tuesday, July 22nd, and the city is celebrating in style. What makes this one different from your average ribbon-cutting is the story behind it: the idea first surfaced at a parks advisory board meeting back in 2012, and for over a decade it got stalled, revived, and stalled again — kept alive by local skaters showing up to public meeting after public meeting until the city finally committed. Ground broke on December 2nd, 2025, and this month, the concrete opens to the public. Located at Pompano Community Park, the $1.8 million facility features a pump track, a vert ramp section, and a street course — including a locally designed gap with Pompano Beach’s colors and iconic fish built right into the concrete. The ribbon cutting on July 22nd at 10 a.m. is followed immediately by a best-trick contest and a world-class demo featuring Jamie Foy (two-time Thrasher Skater of the Year, Deerfield Beach native), Pedro Delfino, Zion Wright, Bam Margera, and more. Free, open to the public, and 12 years in the making. Pompano Community Park, 1801 NE 8th St., Pompano Beach · Grand Opening: Tuesday, July 22 at 10 AM · Free Admission Full Story
Miami-Dade Miami Is the Center of the World This July — and the FIFA Fan Festival at Bayfront Park Is Free If you have not made the drive south for the FIFA World Cup experience, this is your reminder that you do not need a stadium ticket to be part of one of the most electric atmospheres in South Florida history. The FIFA Fan Festival at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami has been running through the knockout rounds — free to the public, with giant screens broadcasting every match live, international food vendors, live entertainment, cultural performances, and fan activations from dozens of nations. Miami is hosting seven total World Cup matches at Hard Rock Stadium, making it one of the tournament’s primary venues, and the energy radiating out from the city right now is genuinely unlike anything the region has experienced.
