About TPH and My Mission

I am passionate about real estate and life in the tropics, and I founded Tropical Phoenix Homes to share that passion with you. We focus on helping buyers, sellers, and investors find homes and projects throughout the places I love the most – South Florida, The Bahamas, and Hawai'i. I’ve had the blessings to either call these incredible places home or spend a meaningful amount of time within. The lifestyle, people, experiences, and overall culture – each in their unique ways – are what I love about these locations. I am dedicating my career to helping individuals, families, and investors find great real estate homes and opportunities in these markets, so consider me your guide to pursuing a life well lived in the tropics.

I am also passionate about reimagining properties for renovations and rebuilds. I’ve developed a brand for this purpose – REIMAGINE by Tropical Phoenix Homes – and I am currently working on my own projects, where my team and I share our vision of the perfect tropical home. Within each of my tropical markets of focus, I’ve either: lived; owned property; completed my own projects; and/or are currently pursuing my own “renos and rebuilds.” So, when it comes to product and location, please understand that I am coming from a personal place of passion, knowledge, and experience.

Allow me to introduce you to – The Tropical Times – by Jennie Frank Kapoor. To me, this isn’t just a blog, but a way to share my unique insights and passion, along with local knowledge and culture, in the tropical markets I am dedicating my life to and love so much.

My team and I kicked around a few different names (I’ll spare you the behind the scenes) and landed on The Tropical Times. We felt it conveyed the mission we wished to pursue – relevant market news and authentic insights that are meaningfully useful to my clients and audience, but, also, fun and representative of the way I like to approach life. (It’s the tropics, and beautiful – let’s be thankful we’re here and have some fun!)

So that’s what you can expect from me in each post – a little “Jennie heart and soul” mixed with purpose-driven-knowledge to help understand these tropical markets that are so special, make a great place to live/visit, and offer incredible investment opportunities. I hope you enjoy what I share, which will be through a mix of media, and I’m always open to any feedback or ideas that you may have. (Warning: there will be photos of me and my dogs on our adventures.)
